Bob Katsionis is best known since 2005 as the rhythm guitarist and keyboardist for Greek power metal act Firewind. On "Noemon", his third solo album, he displays his technical wizardry and prowess in full form.
Bob's thoughts on 'The Nightrager':
"The title of this track is clearly my tribute to the band of my very good friend Marios Iliopoulos, NIGHTRAGE! (Cheers mate!!! ARLA!) This is definitely the most aggressive track of the album, still I kept the melodic element strong throughout all the parts of the track. I also use a cool technique for the main riff of that one, holding the "base notes" with the 1st finger (in that case B and then C) and playing the melody with the rest 4 fingers. Once you master this technique you can create thousands of unique riffs for yourself!!!
