Codex Alimentarius is a metal act from Exeter in the UK that draws upon multiple subgenres such as thrash, groove, and doom as influences for their unique sound. Originally formed as a four piece with vocalist Stephen Bending, Stan Kemble and Tim Wright on guitars and Andrew Dicker on bass, they have expanded with Elliott Alderman-Broom as a third guitarist and Frank Dennis on drums to finish the lineup. "Baptised" is taken from their debut EP, "The Infinite Growth Paradigm vs. Finite Resources".
