“Eclectic” is definitely the word of the week here at RockGamer Studios! With seven new releases hitting the Xbox 360 this week, the variety of styles is decidedly wide-ranging. From the power-prog metal of the UK’s Neonfly, to dark, moody alternative rock from Standing Shadows… from dancey techno-pop courtesy of Child of Glass to piano-driven modern classical from Christopher J… with the modern rock stylings of Conditions and with strong showings from returning metal artists Severed and Fallen Angel, this is without doubt a week with something for everybody!

This week sees the Rock Band Network release of five brand new tracks from the metal end of the spectrum, with the debut of UK prog metallers SikTh, two fresh-off-the-shelves songs from Suicide Silence, and a pair of tunes from returning favorites Amberian Dawn and Graveyard BBQ! Even the PS3 is getting in on the metal action, with tracks from Amberian Dawn, Nightrage, and NightShade now available.

On Saturday, May 28, the Take Action Tour will make its final stop at the Best Buy Theater in Times Square (tickets). The tenth edition of this annual tour, created by Hopeless Records and Sub City to raise awareness about teen issues such as sex, suicide, etc., features popular acts Bayside, Silverstein, Texas In July, Polar Bear Club, and The Swellers.
