First up this week, we have the debut of Canadian songwriter Dan Rothery. With a unique history, including being the frontman for Japanese rockers Ancient Youth, and performing in musical productions such as Jesus Christ Superstar, he makes his entrance on the Rock Band Network with the 2009 single “Regret“. Laid back and mellow, with a simple yet fun guitar riff and dubby bassline, this song really showcases Dan’s vocal talents to the utmost. Making another repeat appearance today is the upstate NY metal act Fallen Angel! Out now is “The Grinding Wheels of War“, their fourth song for the Rock Band Network taken from their ambitious debut concept album Crawling Out of Hell. A brief instrumental interlude, this one is primarily for the guitar shredders. It’s devil-tiered, and earns every bit of it. You can download it now for 160 MSP!

Rounding out this week’s new releases is the second track from up-and-coming metalcore outfit Serianna! If you enjoyed last week’s “Inheritors“, you’ll

be sure to dig the ferocity of “Fragments“, the lead-off track from their forthcoming debut album (out next week courtesy of our friends at Bullet Tooth). It can be downloaded now for 160 MSP.
