Fan-Favorites and New Artists In This Week's RBN Releases!

This week at RockGamer Studios, we’re bringing a selection of more fan-favorite artists back to the Rock Band Network with new tracks from Amberian Dawn, Memphis May Fire, No Bragging Rights, and Nonpoint, as well as debuting awesome tracks from new artists such as Betrayed By Sorrow, Burning Twilight, Kings Queens & Fairytales, and Stretford End! And PS3 owners, the long national nightmare is finally over; the PSN Store is back up and running, and with it, a selection of 14 new songs from our back catalogue are making the jump over, with tracks from bands such as Ayreon, Firewind, The Get Up Kids, and more!
Finnish metal act Amberian Dawn returns with another track from their latest full-length release End of Eden. “Blackbird” displays founder Tuomas Seppala’s virtuosity with the keyboard, melded with their always high-quality symphonic metal compositions. Betrayed By Sorrow is a Christian hard rock band out of Austin, Texas, founded by members Jon Vela and Rob Alaniz. “Deny” is the powerful lead single from their 2009 debut album, After the Fall. Complex guitar work, a pounding tom-based rhythm section, and top-notch vocals and lyrics all combine to make this song one not

Since their start in the spring of 2007, Centralia, WA’s metalcore outfit Burning Twilight puts every ounce of passion and love they have into their music and performance, living up to their name. With haunting melody lines, intense lyrics, and brutal riffs, they add a fresh and unique element to the genre of melodic hardcore. Their single “The Resolve of Cowards” is their Rock Band Network debut, and it can now be downloaded for 160 MSP, courtesy of BlkHeart Group.
Australian four-piece Kings Queens & Fairytales are making a name for themselves in the Land Down Under with their blend of synthesizers and hard-edged guitars, combining to create a genre they term as “electro-rock”. You can get a taste of it for yourselves with the release of their Rock Band Network debut, “Fallen Into You“. It can be downloaded now for 160 MSP, courtesy of RockFellaz.
Metalcore favorites Memphis May Fire are back with a repeat appearance on the Rock Band Network! Their latest track, “Be Careful What You Wish For“, brings technical precision with crazy guitar licks and solos to account for one hell of a fun chart. It can be downloaded now from the Rock Band Music Store for 160 MSP, courtesy of Bullet Tooth.
Need more metalcore? No Bragging Rights make their return today as well, with the release of “Death of an Era“, a powerful and intense track from their 2010
release Illuminator. It’s now available for download for 160 MSP, courtesy of BlkHeart Group.
Fort Lauderdale, FL’s hard rockers Nonpoint are also back with their fourth track for the Rock Band Network. “Miracle” is the title track from their 2010 full-length album, and it features production and backing vocals from Chad Gray of Mudvayne. Finally, out today is the Rock Band Network debut from Hollywood, CA’s Stretford End. These alternative rockers were produced by Gus Cryns, known for his work with acts such as Panic At The Disco and The Academy Is…, amongst others. Their first of two songs for the Network, “Suffer“, has hit the store and can be downloaded now for 160 MSP.
Hardcore drummers! You out there? We know you are! That’s why today, we have five new tracks being released in 2x Bass Pedal editions, where every single kick drum has been charted on Expert. The 2x Bass Pedal versions being released today include Amberian Dawn’s “Arctica (2x Bass Pedal)” and “Blackbird (2x Bass Pedal)“, Burning Twilight’s “The Resolve of Cowards (2x Bass Pedal)“, Memphis May Fire’s “Be Careful What You Wish For (2x Bass Pedal)“, and No Bragging Rights’ “Death of an Era (2x Bass Pedal)“.
