This week sees the release of ten new songs from us for the Rock Band Network on Xbox 360, featuring four more tracks from the latest Amberian Dawn album in both standard and 2x Bass Pedal editions, as well as a trio of new releases for Playstation 3, including the first set of RBN2.0 compatible songs from Anamanaguchi, A Silent Film, and Amberian Dawn!
First up, we’ve got a quadruple dose of Finnish symphonic power metal goodness from Amberian Dawn, continuing to bring more tracks from their latest album, End of Eden. From the sheer insanity of “Field of Serpents” to the relative calm of “Sampo”, the latest four tracks bring more of what the Rock Band community has come to love with Amberian Dawn’s music. “Come Now Follow“, “Field of Serpents“, “Sampo“, and “Talisman” can all be downloaded now for 160 MSP apiece in both standard and 2x Bass Pedal editions, courtesy of Spinefarm Records.
Metalcore fanatics are sure to enjoy the latest from Where the Ocean Meets the Sky, with their latest single, “The Mettle of a Man“. This track taken from their full-length album Empires combines heavy, powerful riffs with a strong message! It can now be downloaded for 160 MSP, courtesy of CI Records.
In the mood for something a bit more upbeat and poppy? Try these tracks on for size. Indie alternative rockers The Cold Goodnight are making their fourth appearance on the Network today with the release of “Hurricane“, taken from their EP Werewolves and Red Lights. You can grab it now at the bargain price of 80 MSP! Also available today is the Rock Band Network debut of Germany’s Hella Donna with their single “Good Things“, available now for download for 160 MSP.
If you’re looking for just straight-forward hard rock, you’ll want to check out the new releases from Grynd Rodd Muse and Hip Kitty. South Africa’s Grynd Rodd Muse makes their debut today with “Blood & Scars“, taken from their recent full-length release Bloodlines, and Nashville’s Hip Kitty is back with their second RBN track entitled “Stuck in a Rut“, taken from The Art of War. Both tracks can be downloaded now for 160 MSP apiece.
Finally, the last group making their Rock Band Network debut today is another band from Nashville, Reform the Resistance. Their single “Tonight We Ride“, taken from the band’s new album The Truth is Dangerous, is out now and can be downloaded for 160 MSP, courtesy of WuLi Records.
