‘RIVER OF TUONI’ AND ‘THE CLOUDS OF NORTHLAND THUNDER’ FULL ALBUMS COMING TO THE ROCK BAND NETWORK

Amberian Dawn and RockGamer Studios are teaming up to bring the symphonic metal powerhouse’s first two full-length albums, River of Tuoni (2006) and The Clouds of Northland Thunder (2009) to RBN in their entirety.

To those of you who follow the Amberian Dawn thread in the official Rock Band forums (yes, you can go there and interact with them!), we’re merely making the rumors official.

Eagle-eyed followers of the RBN Creators Club may have also noticed that several unannounced songs are already in the external playtesting process, including “Shallow Waters,” “Incubus,” and “Kokko – Eagle of Fire.”

We at RockGamer are honored and thrilled to bring Amberian Dawn’s entire existing catalog to the Rock Band Network. The Finnish group’s combination of highly technical, challenging metal instruments and Heidi Parviainen’s enthralling opera-style vocals are a perfect fit for the Rock Band platform. Judging by the sales of “River of Tuoni,” “He Sleeps in a Grove” and “Valkyries” in the RBN store, many of you out there seem to agree.

Composer/guitarist/keyboardist Tuomas Seppälä couldn’t be happier with the response he has received from the Rock Band community so far:

“We are big fans of Rock Band and therefore it was easy for us to make a decision of getting all of our current songs to RBN. It’s been really great to see how well our songs have been converted to RB format by RockGamer Studios. The quality of sound is also awesome.”
