RockGamer Studios Takes a Visit to India with Circus Circus

RockGamer Studios is excited to debut its preview video for “India,” a 3 minutes and 53 second extravaganza by screamo punk band Circus Circus, courtesy of CI Records.

Do the words fast and furious mean anything to you? How about multifaceted? No, we are not talking about racing cars, or a prism. We are talking about Circus Circus’s track “India.“

Don’t let the first 37 seconds fool you. “India” starts off deceivingly easy. Just when you think you’ve got the pattern down pat, Circus Circus smacks you in the face with a ferocious pace change and an all over the place chart (and we mean this in a good way).

Hardcore/postcore/anycore guitarists are going to love the versatility and difficulty of the track. From single note meandering, to power chords in the middle, to quirky guitar riffs at the end, “India” really has it all.

The bass track is no piece of cake, either. Many players may find that they may need to start off on a lower level they usually do for bass.

Circus Circus’s vocals set them apart from other bands. Despite the fact that the vocals are charted to lead vocalist Mike William’s screams, they are actually quite melodic and doable, not exactly what you’d expect from a band who’ve dubbed themselves a “screamo spazz assault.”

Attention punk drummers! The pace for “India’s” drum charts is incredibly tough to keep up with. The entire song almost seems as if it were made up of three separate drum lines beginning, middle and end. “India” is really an opus-like piece from Circus Circus.

Look for “India” coming your way via Rock Band Network in the near future.
